Oppo K9 5G Full Specifications
The Oppo K9 5G has received a few upgrades when compared to the Oppo K7 5G. Oppo has maintained the same display size but introduced a new chipset, a bigger battery, and revamped the rear camera to the 60’s MP region.
The Oppo K9 comes in 2 Blue and Black color options. It weighs 172 grams and is only 7.9 mm thick. It sports a 6.43 inches Full HD+ AMOLED display and a dot-in design for the selfie camera. The display also houses an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The phone runs on ColorOS based on Android 11 out of the box. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G which is just the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 765G on the Oppo K7 5G. Compared to the Snapdragon 765G, the Snapdragon 768G offers a better single and multi-core CPU performance, a better GPU performance, but an almost similar battery efficiency and consumption. For memory, the Oppo K9 5G comes in 2 options, a 6GB/128GB option, and an 8GB/256GB option. The whole system uses 3D liquid cooling to keep the temperatures down.
At the back, the Oppo K9 5G has a triple camera setup which is kind of an upgrade and at the same time a downgrade when compared to the camera setup on the K7 5G as it had a quad-camera setup. The rear camera of the Oppo K9 5G has a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. There is an LED flash next to the lenses but they are prepared by a rainbow stripe. The selfie camera is a 32 MP snapper in a dot-in display design.
The battery section is the region where the Oppo K9 has received major improvements. A 4300 mAh non-removable battery powers the Oppo K9 5G. That is 275 mAh extra from the 4025 mAh on its predecessor, the Oppo K7 5G. The battery on the K9 5G supports 65W fast charging which is double that on the K7 5G.
