Lenovo Legion 2 Pro Price, and Full Specifications; first phone with dual turbofan super liquid cooling tech

Lenovo is set to launch Lenovo Legion 2 Pro gaming phone on 8 April 2021. The phone will be the successor of the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel Pro which was announced in China on 22 July 2020. The Lenovo Legion 2 Pro exact price is not yet known but our best guess is around $1100 – $1385. It battles rivals like the ROG Phone 5 Pro, Red Magic 6 Pro, and the Black Shark 4 Pro whose prices also fall in the same region. Here some images of the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro;

The Lenovo Legion 2 Pro brings new technology and features to the smartphone gaming market. The phone is the first smartphone in the world to feature dual turbo fan super cooling technology + liquid cooling. This is obviously to keep temperatures from soring into dangerous regions during heavy gaming. The phone also has a side-mounted pop-up selfie camera. Yes, side-mounted, and it a pop-up camera. It also features more side triggers.

Lenovo Legion 2 Pro Full Specifications

The phone has a 6.92 inches FHD+ (1080 x 2460) E4 AMOLED display. The display offers a 144 Hz screen refresh rate, 720 Hz touch sampling rate, and a 3ms response time. It has a pixel density of 388 and comes with HDR10+ support. The screen is further protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which prevents easy cracking and scratching. The display also houses an under-display fingerprint scanner.

It runs on Legion OS based on Android 11. Under the hood, it packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor which has an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 660 GPU. This powerful processor is paired with 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM. The 12 GB RAM variant is paired with 128 GB storage and 256 GB of storage. The 16 GB RAM variant is the one with the highest amount of storage at 512 GB. The storage type is UFS 3.1. It doesn’t include a memory card slot at all.

Around the back, there is a dual-camera setup. The setup has an OmniVision 64 MP main camera(OV64A) and a 16 MP ultrawide camera. It records 8K@30fps, 4K@120fps, and is backup by a dual-LED dual-tone flash setup. The selfie camera is a 44 MP side-mounted motorized pop-up camera that records 4K videos at 30fps.

A 5500 mAh battery powers the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro. It further supports 90W flash charging via a USB Type-C. In the comms section, the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC. There’s no FM Radio. For the sensors, the gaming phone has an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and shoulder triggers. It doesn’t have a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
