The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition was launched in China on 2 April 2021 with a starting price of $350.37 (Rs. 25,600) for the 8GB/128GB model. The 12GB/256GB model is priced a bit higher at $396 (Rs. 29,000). The phone which is just a beefed-up Realme X7 Pro launched in 2 colors Castle Sky and Black Forest colors. It is available for purchase on Realme China online store. The phone is expected to make its debut in the Indian market considering India is Realmes main consumer. The device joins the Realme X7 lineup which consists of the Realme X7 and the Realme X7 Pro mid-range smartphones,

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition Specifications & Design

The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition design is a revamp of the Realme X7 Pro. It has a curved edge display and a huge ‘DARE TO LEAP’ branding on the back cover. Both features are not on the Realme X7 Pro. Apart from these 2 differences, everything is the same including the position of the selfie camera and the rear cameras. It weighs 170 g and is 7.8 mm thick.

The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition sports has a 6.55 inches FHD+ AMOLED display. This display has a 90 Hz screen refresh rate and a 360 Hz touch sampling rate. It is slightly curved at the edges which give it a very appealing look. It boasts a 92.1 screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

It runs on Realme 2.0 OS based on Android 11. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset that runs on an Octa-core CPU and an ARM Mali-G77 MP9 GPU. This chipset supports the 5G network type which makes the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition a 5G phone. It is then paired with 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of internal storage. There is also a 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model which costs more. The phone utilizes VC Liquid Cooling to keep the temperatures down during heavy tasks or gaming.

At the back, the phone has 3 cameras. A 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro shooter sit on a rectangular camera module. Next to the lenses, there is a dual-LED flash for taking pictures in low-light areas or night photography. For selfies, the phone has a 32 MP selfie camera which is housed in a punch-hole cutout on the left corner of the display.

A 4500 mAh battery powers the phone. It has 65W fast charging and is equipped with a USB Type-C. In the connectivity section, the phone has 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, and Wi-Fi 6. It has in-built sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, a compass, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
