The Vivo S9e 5G was launched as a mid-range smartphone on March 4, 2021. The phone is priced at $370 (Rs. 27,020) for the 8GB/128GB model and $420 (Rs. 30,400) for the 12GB/256GB model. The phone has the same design as almost all the other Vivo smartphones with a rectangular camera module and a smooth back cover. The display on the Vivo S9e 5G uses a water-drop notch for the selfie camera and a thin earpiece grill at the top of the selfie camera. The frame is made of aluminum and not plastic which gives it a beautiful design. On the right side of the phone, there is a volume rocker and a power button both with an aluminum finish.
