Vivo S7t in Nigeria

The Vivo S7t was launched on February 2021 in China for CYN 2698. The phone is expected to make its debut in Nigeria soon as the company has been slowly making its way into the African market. However, will have to face other brands who have already established their place in the Africa market like Tecno, Infinix, and Samsung.

In Nigeria, the Vivo S7t will be available in the Vivo Nigeria LTD shop found in Ikeja once the phone has been officially launched in the country. For the online shopping fans, the phone will also most likely feature on the official Vivo store on Jumia.

Price in Nigeria

The Vivo S7t will most likely have a starting price of NGN 159,000. However, the prices may vary depending on the region and seller. Although the prices may vary, the phone will most likely not go for above NGN 165,000. The price is actually very favorable considering the specs on the Vivo S7t making it a perfect 5G mid-range device. Here are the specs of the device below;

The Vivo S7t has a 6.44 inches AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 screen resolution. Although the display is quite huge, it is very clear as the FULL HD+ display gives you a total of 409 PPI. It also has no bezel at the bottom but has a small bezel at the top which houses the selfie cameras and the earpiece. The display looks quite great even under direct sunlight. Gaming on the device is smooth and the bezel at the bottom doesn’t get in the way.

Hardware & Software

The Vivo S7t runs on Android 1 1out of the box with the OriginOS 1.0. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 820 5G which is much more powerful than any Infinix or Tecno you will find in Nigeria. It comes in 2 models; 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage and an 8 GB RAM + 256 GB of internal storage. Again, more than most smartphones in Nigeria at this price range.

The camera combination on the Vivo S7t is quite impressive and so is the performance. At the back, the phone has a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The main camera takes very high quality 4K images, especially during the day. The colors are very well saturated and the focus is one of the best. The rear flashlight also lights up night photos very well to make them look perfect even in pitch-black corridors.

At the front, the phone has a dual-selfie camera setup with a 44 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor. The ultrawide sensor is great especially for taking group selfies as it covers quite a large area and still manages to maintain the quality. The main sensor is however on another level in terms of the selfie quality which can only be described as amazing. However, night selfies are not that good as there isn’t a front LED flash.

For the cameras, the Vivo S7t is equipped with one of the best that you will find in Nigeria at this price. It might not be as good as a Samsung, an iPhone, or a Huawei, but considering its price range, the performance is perfect.

The phone has a 4000 mAh battery with a 33W fast charging capability. It is non-removable which means it is not user-replaceable. The 33W fast charging charges the battery from 0 – 66% in under 30 minutes which is quite fast especially in the mornings when you’re almost late for work.

Other Features

Fingerprint Scanner(under-display), Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Compass, Wi-Fi, Dual Nano SIM, GPS.

The Vivo S7t is a really good phone. Although we’re not yet sure when it’s going to launch in Nigeria, anyone with the means to get their hands on it shouldn’t hesitate. However, it doesn’t have a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a radio. Apart from these 2, everything else is perfect for the price range of between NGN 159,000 – NGN 165,000.
