The Motorola E7 Plus is the successor to the Motorola Moto E6 Plus which was released back in 2019. However, according to geekbench listings, the Moto E7 Plus comes with more RAM, a better camera, and even a fingerprint reader (rear-mounted) compared to the base model. The Moto E7 Plus scored 1152 points on geekbench in single-core tests which is quite an improvement from the Moto E6 Plus 820 points single-core performance. The Moto E7 Plus also scored a total of 4373 points for multi-core tests. According to the Moto E7 Plus specs, it’s an entry-level device.

The Moto E7 Plus is expected to sport a 6.2 inches IPS LCD display with a 720 x 1520 screen resolution. This is the same size as the display on the base model(Moto E7). This means the display will have a total pixel density of 271 pixels per inch and will also feature the waterdrop notch design.
Software & Hardware
The Moto E7 Plus runs on Android 10 out of the box. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset codenamed ‘guam’, and an Octa-core processor with a 1.80 GHz base frequency. Although the codename doesn’t really give a hint on the exact model of processor, the expectation is the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 632. If the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 602 chipset, the graphics processor will be the Adreno 602.

As per geekbench listing, it’s clear that the Moto E7 Plus will come with 4 GB of RAM. The phone ship with 64 GB of internal storage but we might even see a 128 GB model considering it has double the RAM of the base model.
The Moto E7 Plus will sport a dual-camera setup at the back. This is the same setup which is expected to be on the Moto E7. The setup might be similar to that on the base model, a 13 MP main camera, a 2 MP OmniVision depth sensor, and an LED flash. At the front, the phone might get an 8 MP selfie camera.
Nothing is known about the size of the battery on the Motorola Moto E7 Plus. However, it’s known that the phone will utilize the USB Type-C. The base model is expected to be powered by a 3550 mAh battery which means the Moto E7 Plus might come with the same battery capacity.
