The Infinix Zero 8 was officially launched on 27 August 2020. The 2020/2021 Inifnix flagship comes with a premium look and a really beautiful design for the rear camera. The rear camera module is diamond-shaped and it also features a dual punch-hole selfie camera setup, giving it a design we’ve never seen before on an Infinix smartphone. There is also a budget-friendly version of the Infinix Zero 8 which is the Infinix Zero 8i. Something we were all hoping to experience on this amazingly beautiful device.

Infinix Zero 8 Specifications and Features
The Infinix Zero 8 sports a 6.85 inches IPS LCD display with a 1080 x 2460 screen resolution. The panel on the Zero 8 has a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 180 Hz touch sampling which is a perfect upgrade from the standard 60 Hz refresh rate panels. It has a total pixel density of 392 PPI and has an 86.8% screen to body ratio. For screen protection, the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass technology. The phone sports a punch-hole display design for its dual-selfie cameras which are located at the top left corner of the display.
Software & Hardware
The Infinix Zero 8 runs on Android 10 out of the box paired with Infinix’s XOS 7.0 launcher. Under the hood, the flagship is powered by a MediaTek Kelio G90T SoC which is the perfect chipset for gaming and day to day activities. The chipset comes with an Octa-core CPU (2.05 GHz, Dual-Core, Cortex A76 + 2 GHz Hexa-core) and a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU.
The Infinix Zero 8 comes with more than enough memory. The phone packs 8 GB of RAM which is backed up by 128 GB of internal storage. There’s a dedicated MicroSDXC clot which supports memory cards of up to 256 GB.
The rear camera on the Infinix Zero 8 has been fully redesigned with the camera module being diamond-shaped. At the rear, the phone packs a quad-camera setup. The setup includes a 64 MP Sony IMX 686 main camera + 8 MP ultrawide shooter + 2 MP depth sensor + 2 MP low light sensor. At the bottom of the camera module, you find a huge quad-LED flash which is useful especially at night. The cameras can record 4 videos at 30fps although we would have expected at least 8K recording.
At the front, the Infinix Zero 8 sports a Dual-camera setup. The setup consists of 48 MP main selfie camera + 8 MP ultrawide selfie camera. The cameras are located at the top left corner of the display as the Zero 8 sports the punch-hole display design. With the front camera, you only get a 1080p video recording at 30fps.
The phone is powered by a sizeable 4500 mAh battery with a 33W SuperCharge feature which is similar to fast charging. It utilizes a USB Type-C, which is located at the bottom of the phone, for charging and data transfer.
