The Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime will be Lunched in Asia on August 4th. The smartphone falls in the entry-level category and it’s assumed to be a rebranded international version of the Xiaomi Redmi 9. Though the Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime falls in the entry-level category, it sports a Full HD+ display and a mammoth battery. Considering the Redmi 9 prime specs, it’s most likely the phone will be priced at around Rs. 9,000 – Rs. 14,000.

The phone runs on Android 10 out of the box and the MIUI 11 launcher. The Redmi 9 Prime runs on the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC chipset and an Octa-core CPU(2x Cortex-A75, 6x Cortex-A50) with a 2.0Ghz base frequency. As for the graphics processor, the device utilizes the ARM Mali-G52 MP2 GPU with a 950 MHz base frequency.
