OnePlus Nord 5G vs Vivo iQOO 3 5G
The OnePlus Nord is the latest device from OnePlus, However, the Vivo iQOO 3 which was launched in February 2020, seems to be the better option as it has some features that give the OnePlus Nord a run for its money.
The Vivo iQOO 3 5G seems to be a better choice as it comes with the Snapdragon 865 which a more powerful compared to the Snapdragon 765G on the OnePlus Nord.

The OnePlus Nord 5G sports a bigger display compared to the Vivo iQOO 3. The OnePlus Nord comes with a 6.55 inches Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 screen resolution. This leaves the display with a pixel density of 402. The display on the OnePlus Nord has a 90 GHz refresh rate.
The Vivo iQOO 3 5G sports a 6.44 inches Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 screen resolution. The display has a pixel density of 409 PPI which is higher than that of the OnePlus Nord. The display on the Vivo iQOO 3 has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

The OnePlus Nord runs on Android 10 out of the box paired with the OxygenOS 10.0 launcher. The device utilizes the Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G chipset and n Octa-core CPU. As for the GPU, the OnePlus Nord utilizes the Adreno 620.
The Vivo iQOO 3 also runs on Android 10 out of the box the iQOO UI 1.0 launcher. It runs on the Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 chipset and an Octa-core CPU. As for the GPU, it utilizes the Adreno 650.
The OnePlus Nord ships with one variant when it comes to memory. You get 6 GB of RAM and 128 Gb of internal storage which is perfect but I think they should have given more choices when it comes to memory.
With the iQOO 3, you get a bunch of choices. There’s a 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and a 12GB + 256GB variant of RAM and internal storage respectively.
The OnePlus Nord sports a triple camera setup at the rear. You get a 64 MP wide camera, 16 MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2 MP macro camera. The cameras can also shoot 4K videos at 30fps.
At the front, the OnePlus Nord has a dual-camera setup. The setup has a 32 MP camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide shooter.
The Vivo iQOO 3 5G sports a quad-camera setup at the rear. The setup consists of a 48 MP ultra-wide lens + 13 MP telephoto lens + 13 MP ultra-wide shooter + 2 MP depth sensor. The rear camera can also shoot 4K videos at 60fps and 30fps.
At the front, you get a single 32 MP camera. The camera can shoot videos a 1080P@30fps
The OnePlus Nord 5G draws power from a 4300 mAh battery with a 30W fast charging capability. The device also comes equipped with the USB Type-C.
The Vivo iQOO 3 a bigger a better battery. It is powered by a 4400 mAh battery with 55W fast charging capability. According to Vivo, the battery can charge up to 50% within 15 min which is awesome. The phone also uses the USB-Type-C.
OnePlus Nord 5G – Around $500 or Rs
Vivo iQOO 3 5G – The 6GB +128GB variant goes for around $447. The 8GB +128GB variant goes for Rs 34,900.
The Vivo iQOO 3 5G definitely wins in this comparison. It has a more powerful processor, more memory, and most definitely a bigger and better battery. However, when it comes to cameras, that depends on personal taste.
