The Infinix Smart 4 Plus was launched on 21st July in India. The phone is an entry-level device and it’s priced at Rs. 7,999 or $108 or Ksh 10,999. The phone is the successor to the Infinix Smart 3 Plus which was released mid-2019. As of now, the device has only been launched in India but it will make it’s way into the African market soon. The phone ships in 3 colors; Ocean Wave, Violet, and Midnight Black.
Infinix Smart 4 Plus Specifications
The Infinix Smart 4 Plus sports a 6.82 inches IPS LCD display with a 720 x 1640 screen resolution. The device has a 90.5% screen to body ratio. The Infinix Smart 4 Plus sports the water drop design for the front camera. The display on the smart 4 plus is relatively bigger compared to the one on the Infinix Smart 3 Plus.
Software & Hardware
The Smart 4 Plus runs on Android 10 out of the box and Inifinix’s XOS 6.2 launcher.
Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 4 Plus is powered by a MediaTek Helio A25 SoC chipset and a powerful Octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU. As for the graphics processor, the device utilizes the PowerVR GE8320 GPU which is perfect for everyday apps and light gaming.

The Infinix Smart 4 Plus ships with 3GB of RAM + 32 GB of internal storage. There’s also a dedicated MicroSDXC slot which means you can use 2 Nano-SIM Cards and a memory card of up to 256 GB.
At the back, the Smart 4 Plus utilizes a single 13 MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture. There’s a depth sensor included in the setup. A triple-LED flash is located next to the camera lenses.
A single 8 MP camera with f2.0 aperture is located at the top of the display. There’s also Dual-LED flash at the top for lighting up those low light areas and night selfies.

The Infinix Smart 4 Plus is powered by a mammoth of a battery. The device draws power from a 6000 mAh Non-Removable battery which also has a 10W fast charging capability. The fact that Infinix decided to include fast charging technology on the Infinix Smart 4 Plus is pretty nice. Otherwise, it would take long hours to fully charge a 6000 mAh battery.
