The Latest Huawei Y7P. A Cheaper Alternative To The Infinix Note 7 and The Tecno Camon 15.

The Huawei Y7P was announced early February but it was available at different times in different countries. Everyone has turned their attention to the latest Infinix Note 7 and the Tecno Camon 15.Although the devices look very premium and attractive, their price tag’s might not be favorable to everyone especially with the current covid-19 situation.
The Huawei Y7P is way cheaper than the Note 7 and the Camon 15 while still offering almost the same features the other devices have. The price tag on the Huawei Y7P will help cut down your budget and you will still get a descent smartphone. The phone comes in 2 colors; Aurora Blue and the Midnight Black. I’d however suggest you get the Aurora Blue as it looks really premium and glossy.
Display
Huawei Y7P review
The Huawei Y7P sports a 6.39 inch IPS LCD display with a 720 x 1560 screen resolution. The colors on this display are actually quite satisfying considering it’s just a HD+ resolution display. The resolution is also very similar to the one on Camon 15 and the Note 7. You won’t notice any difference if you compared the 2 display’s side by side.
Hardware
Huawei Y7P chipset
The Y7P runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9.0 pie.As for the chipset the phone runs on the Hisilicon Kirin 710F. This is a very standard chipset and it’s light gaming and multi-tasking capabilities are almost similar to those of the Camon 15. The Infinix Note 7 can nowhere be compared to the two as it has a more powerful chipset.
As for the storage, the Y7P ships with 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM.The amount of RAM is the same one you will find on the Camon 15, and all of this at a lower price.
Camera
The camera on the Y7P is similar to the one on the Note 7 and the Camon 15.The phone sports a quad camera setup; 48 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The 48 MP main camera shoots pictures with a good amount of detail and sharpness. The Y7P pictures are however not so good under low light.
At the front the phone sports the punch hole design for the selfie camera. This feature is available in both the Camon 15 and the Note 7.The camera is however an 8 MP sensor which might not be so impressive but you can just ignore it as it will meet your daily needs.
Battery
Huawei Y7P specifications
The Y7P is powered by a Non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. It also has the standard 10 w fast charging. The battery is a 1000 mAh lower than the one on the Note 7 and Camon 15, but since the Y7P has a smaller display, the battery life will actually be the same.
Conclusion
The Huawei Y7P is a really descent budget smartphone. It has a huge display, a good processor and great battery life. The premium look of the device also adds to its good features.
Some features like the front camera and the battery size might not be to the standard of the Note 7 and the Camon 15.These are features you can sacrifice if you really want a device close to the Camon 15 and the Note 7 standards for a lower price tag.So you can stop hitting your head on a wall trying to reach the Camon 15 and the Note 7 price tag, you can just go for the Huawei Y7P.
